This blog will be containing items of interest on how the US is now entering its waning years due to a lack of character, resiliency, and discipline of its citizenry most noted by the overwhelming election of the King of Give-aways, BHO (Barack Hussein Obama). While I don't fault BHO for his rhetoric since he is the same old politician, I do fault the US voters for believing him that he will give everyone this and everyone that. I would assume that one thing we have learned from all politicians (Republican and Democrat) that politicians do what is best for their careers not what is best for the country. That would make them a statesman/stateswoman, and we don't have any of those types in Washington today.
I will anger people on both sides since I believe that there is very little that differenciates the Red from the Blue, the Republican from the Democrat, the insider from the outsider. That fact that we have given power to one party at a time when the country needs voices of dissention is proof that we vote our welfare and not the country's welfare.
Remember a President from an early era who said: "Don't ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." This question from JFK's first inaugural address has sadly been erased from the common voter's memory. This last election shows that we want the government to save us, do this, pay for this, handle this; in other words, run our lives. This is the main reason the USA has entered its twilight years.
Come back often, sometime comments will be allowed and other times they will not simply because of spam or lack of responder's self-control. The next 4 years will be very telling if the USA can prevent from becoming the USSA (United Socialist States of America).
Again, welcome.
